Water Jet Cut Foam
Madison Polymeric Engineering (MPE) introduces high speed water jet cutting capability for foam, rubber and soft plastic materials. MPEs machine linear position accuracy is +/- 0.0005 and with our highly repeatable CNC control system we can produce one production part or one million production pieces. Our advanced software package will accept CAD drawings and determine machine tool path and part nesting parameters automatically to minimize set up time and maximize production time.
There is no expensive tool cost associated with our system and changes to production parts is a simple program change, allowing us to best serve our customers needs. Our 5 AXIS machine capability is ideal for producing hard case inserts. The case taper is cut at the same time as the cavities which significantly reduces labor and increases throughput and consistency of our customers insert.
Because MPEs unique water jet cutting system is designed for best utilization of material, our customers benefit is a very low priced highly reproducible part. This new level of quality foam fabrication makes us highly competitive and reduces turn time. Gone are scalloped parts associated with die cutting and loose fitting foam.
